4th January 2014 I decided I would try to complete project 365.

My aim being not only to record a year in my life , but to try and be less of a happy snapper and to develop a more  thoughtful and hopefully skilful approach to photography!

I started the year with an old second hand (ebay) Canon eos 350d and when as I have posted nearly 100 of the 365 project I have invested in a Nikon d3300.

October 2014 I have enrolled in a photography course to try and improve, I enjoy blipfoto, but do find with limited time, I often have to "grab" a blip, as opposed to going for quality, but want to work on that!

December 2014 - serious stuff - a Nikon D610 has arrived!

April 2016 - and I am slowly returning to Blip  having quite missed the community....but can't see that I will ever do the daily photo challenge again preferring to concentrate on trying to get decent images over just getting a snap.....(Although I find that isn't the case as often I just use the phone )

January 2018 - Moved in December to Devon on Somerset boarder, and now totally retired!

September 2018 - Blip is great diary, and love using it to record our days out and trips and getting ideas from other contributors, but am aware it's easy to spend too much time on social media so am trying to get the balance right...which will inevitably mean I don't comment on other entries as much as I should!

November 2020 - Determined to capture an image everyday of this second lockdown, and wondering if I should return to Blip.....I'll  see how it goes!
