I started blipping 6 years ago with a view to using my camera more. It’s a DSLR Canon. I use my phone and a small Panasonic also depending on the situation I find myself in. I have always taken photographs with a variety of non digital cameras now obsolete. I’ve always wanted to keep the moment, save my life really. I live in Scotland although I have lived in Kenya, Iran and Italy for shorter spells. The human race is very important. I love people watching and love engaging with them. I’m lucky to have great family and friends to be bonded to. I’m very lucky to have the same fellow who I married in 1971. We have a son and a daughter and 4 young grandchildren. They and their partners in crime are a huge support to us. Luckily for us they live relatively closely although they have also travelled in their younger days.

I am Lucky so far.

My main interests visually are in nature and art. I would like to take more people shots but a lot of people are shy about their picture being taken and in the age of the internet quite a few don’t want their data out there. Blip is an open site to the public. It doesn’t bother me but it might bother a lot of the most unlikely of people.

I enjoy delving into the lives of others on blip and having serious conversation or just a laugh. I like to know where people live. Some blippers are superb photographers and dedicate themselves to that part of it. I’m more of a diary person but still hoping to improve the way I use the camera. Unfortunately I can’t afford to spend a lot of time and money developing skills as I have quite a busy life as it is. Lucky me.
