I'm a photo editor and very fortunate to travel with my job. I started a photo of the day project on my last birthday not only to document some of my travels, but also to help combat my growing anxiety. With my job I can be very busy for weeks/months, then have nothing to do for weeks. I was getting to the point where I couldn't leave my apartment and wouldn't for days. I thought, if I did this, there was only so much in my apt I could shoot, so I would have to leave my apt to keep it interesting. And, while I was out, it gave me something to focus on other than my anxiety. Now, almost 366 days through, I can honestly say I'm a different person than I was when I started it.
