I grew up in South Africa and shouldered my backpack to the UK aged 24 in search of work, adventure and places to climb. Fast forward 14 years, and I've long since put down my backpack and more than a few roots. For fun I wrench on and ride bicycles; for dough I take my turn at the emergency services frontline most (it seems) weekend nights. My week is a twentyfour/seven one, and as such brings opportunity aplenty for shots when the nine-to-fivers are staggering home/hungover/asleep/otherwise engaged.
