I started this one year ago just to inform grandparents, family and friends about Elmers wellbeing with this simple but great concept: one picture a day.

It got out of hand.

Since Elmers life can be fragile at times it has also been good to take pictures of our everyday-domestic-ordinary life instead of always have to look in a worried kind of way at our boy. I enjoyed doing that and I still do.

To take a picture of only one subject can become boring but I think Elmers grandparents and fans disagree. It can be a challenge. Sometimes it is hard to find a new 'point of view'. We try. We like it.

Lonely Petunia once commented that it would be really interesting to look back in a year at all the photos and see how he changes. I have to agree. Looking back also reminds me that all those pictures will be remembered as special moments I still can recall as if it was only yesterday.

Elmer is the best model one can have: always smiling and always in a good mood. He is the best thing that ever happened to us and we love him so much for that.
