I have been interested in photography since about the age of 8 with a Kodak instamatic and my parents bought me a Nikon FM when I was 18.  Over the years since then I took lots of photographs for historical reasons and particularly of my boys growing up.

Since I have moved to Cumbria and I have more time my photography has really changed and I hope it has improved.  I am looking at things differently now.

I have a Photography course at Kendal College with an inspirational tutor and went on a Photographic holiday which has helped too.

What is really nice is that this is a joint interest with my husband and it is great to get out together enjoying the landscape and taking photographs.  I find it very relaxing.

Oh, and then there is blip.  An addictive little  habit which also helps me to improve and I allow it to put pressure on me to try and do better.
