Cat lady, queerfeminist antifascist, 90% vegan hippie punk, and Bremen repatriate - I live in the best and only Quarter.
Rarely leave the house without a camera. Thus, many of my (amateur) blips are everyday impressions. Carry a cheapo second hand Exilim in my daypack when too busy to bother otherwise. For a "good" blip I use my Canon. Occasionally, I use treatment to enhance contrast or sharpen or bring out a detail but I personally draw the line at "instagrammable" filters or smart phone photography. Also, although I find people photography a very interesting field, I've recently tried not to photograph too many random people, for privacy reasons. Personal data being sold, and there being too much surveillance for my taste already... I have a thing about personal boundaries.
I like to travel (low budget, if and when I find the money) - which, when it happens, provides me with great natural blip opportunities. Returning with hundreds of pics, sorting them and afterwards spending hours, sometimes days researching what effin' strange kind of plant I've blipped there... Small scale hiking or cycling blip "tours" fill me with joy, too. Blipping definitely is me-time =)
