I retired….early. Seventeen years as Head of a Junior School made me decide it was time. I loved the job right up to my last day. That was two years ago and I still wake up and count my blessings. There is, at last, time to ‘smell the roses’.

I love Blip. I’ve laughed and cried over Blips posted by people all over the world who I will probably never have the pleasure of meeting. For a short moment, the world seems that bit smaller.

I have not yet managed to Blip daily! I was quite wrong…..time does not slow down in retirement…..quite the opposite in fact!
