Thirty years have gone by...

I have had a varied life, living all over the UK. With a career as a qualified mechanical engineer and technical author in industry in the years before motherhood.

Since then, and another three years at university I have been a primary school teacher which I absolutely love.

Throughout all of this I have had my wonderful, although sometimes grumpy, husband by my side; through richer and poorer and sickness and health.
