Tufted Duck at Paxton Pits
While we were up in Yorkshire yesterday, there was a lot of excitement when a Golden Oriole was found just up the A1 from us. In the forlorn hope that it was still around today I had to go and have a look, but no sound or sign of it.
Never mind though, a good excuse to have a wander round Paxton Pits which was just another five miles further north. Nothing unusual, but a pleasant wander. Thought you might like this picturesque Tufted Duck wile RCB brings you Mrs Mute Swan giving her cygnets a ride.
