I am an academic based in London who started off my career in dentistry and moved into education. Part of my work involves the use of media especially the visual image in learning. I am fortunate to travel to international conferences and collaborating institutions.

I am not a photographer but have used my digital camera as a diary over the years. So blipping is a natural progression. I have learnt much about landscapes and people that I wouldn't otherwise have known or met. My aim is to complete a 'a year in the life of' and we'll see how it goes from there.

Three years on and it has been a pleasure sharing photos with this great community. I hope blip will last, and that we can last too!
