First off- I am not a photographer; not even a little bit.

I'm 32, live in Scotland in a typical Ayrshire town, have a 9-5 job, have a handfull of minor hobbies and interests and most importantly I am a father of 2 boys- Calum and Arun.

I have a device which operates as an entertainment centre, a calendar, a bank, a shopping list, an IM service and crucially - a camera. I think you can even make phone calls from it!

I am one of those anomalies that love photographs (both my own and other peoples), but dont especially enjoy capturing them.
I respect those that have the patience to think about and line up the perfect shot. Me? I just point, shoot and see what happens.
I like my results though; occasionally they are blurry, almost always the light is wrong, and from time to time even I dont know what it is ive shot! But they are REAL. They tell my life, and that has to count for something doesn't it?
