January 2021 - After being on blip just over a year I thought it is a good time to add a bit more about myself.

South African born and raised, and after making Namibia my home for 10 years, I relocated to the UK at the start of 2019 to be closer to family and follow a work opportunity that reset my career in biodiversity conservation.I am lucky to be in a job that takes me to interesting corners of the African continent.

Being averse to social media after seeing thoughtless posts and becoming a mindless scroller, I left all my accounts behind in 2019 and have never looked back. I was introduced to the friendly blip community by a friend and fellow blipper and thought to give it a try.

In 2020 I moved onto a 30ft narrowboat called Dragon and thoroughly enjoy life on the water. I love how there is always something to do on a boat, a bit like owning a beloved land rover. And the welcoming eclectic community of the waterways is always there to give a helping hand.

I like using blipfoto primarily as a diary but also to share experiences with my family and friends and to anyone else who stumbles upon here.

October 2019 - Live is an adventure!
I love my family, friends and work!
