PREVIOUSLY

My name is Cheralyn. I am an amateur photographer. About 1 ½ years ago I took up digital photography. Before this I used a 35mm Canon 50 SLR, but with time and experience I now choose to use a Canon 550D DSLR. it has quickly become my number one hobby.I started off with a flickr account in Dec 09 which gave me inspiration. I was introduced to blip by Celia. (thank you Celia ).
I'm always striving to improve......

I use photography as a means of self-exploration and to express my interpretation of the world around me. Although I enjoy different forms of photography, I have yet to find my niche. I have a love for wildlife because I get the most pleasure from capturing animals. I can have a vision in my mind that represents a photograph I want to take. This vision exists only in my head and it's a silent vision which has the power to bring me out to take photographs, day after day, month after month, for a chance to turn that vision into something tangible that I can share with others.
I learn all that I can about the natural factors behind each photographic opportunity; wildlife operates within its own free will. As a photographer, I must learn to be patient and at peace with my subject on their terms, not on mine, so I can interact with them and thus get the best shot as I do not have control. Each time I get a perfect moment and capture that with my camera, I experience happiness.

I'm Loving this new Blip-obsession, it is giving me a much need focus during this somewhat unstructured period. . I've seen some stunning images here,

Thank you for your comments on my blip, it's very much appreciated
