I started a photo a day on the 1st January 2014, a new years resolution. I intended to do it for a year, but continued beyond January 2015 and have kept going. It has become a bit of a habit.

I am updating here on 1st January 2021. 2020 was a roller coaster. Retirement for both Mrs F and myself. The Covid19 Pandemic. Mrs F being identified as clinically vulnerable and therefore on the shielding list, so I have shielded too. A greater understanding of the health issues in October, when she had a first diagnosis. And the worsening health crisis as we enter 2021, combined with the UK leaving the UK (which we see as a negative), but some optimism around vaccination programmes.

Predictions seem futile for 2021. But I hope we can get out more, have access to places we would avoid at present, and maintain good health. And on the photographic front I am going to set myself some new challenges. I still feel a relative beginner, although I have learnt a lot since I posted my first blip seven years ago.
