At school I was absolutely abysmal at Art. I drove dear old Mr Garrett to distraction with my inept manual dexterity. In my early thirties, whilst baby-sitting a good friends 3 year old daughter, we played "I draw something and you guess it". I drew a horse. In her 3 year old wisdom she pronounced "that is the worst horse I have ever seen"! She was probably not wrong. But photography always feels like this is the visual artform I will perfect.
