Bubbles

Each time he gets a bottle of bubbles I say, "Hold the bottle carefully. If you jump around chasing the bubbles you'll spill it."

Each time he looks me in the eye and nods.

Each time he leaps after the first bright burst of bubbles.

And spills the rest.

I think true learning comes from trial and error. Sometimes that means lots and lots of errors.

Do we leave enough room to make mistakes? Are we too concerned with getting it right first time?

I give you permission to get it wrong.

I'll still give you more bubbles.
