Arthur's Seat

Glimpsed through the railings surrounding the derelict tramsheds off Leith Walk.

I went the back way to work today in search of some blip inspiration, as an alternative to going straight up the Walk. This took me up the back of the derelict Shrubhill Tramsheds.

I like the way that Arthur's Seat, and the light over it, is framed by the old buildings. I've taken this picture from the other direction. I also like the random bird I caught by mistake.

As I was taking this picture, an email came through to say that a close colleague and good friend from work was in hospital. It was quite a shock. I wish him and his family well.

Update: a bit of fiddling around on Photogene this evening has produced this.
