Fairfield Horseshoe

We went down to Bowness and Windermere today. Residents of Cumbria can get half price tickets on the steamers at this time of year. (You have to apply for a card.)
The Fairfield Horseshoe, which you can see bits of in the distance, is a good 7 hour round trip walk from Ambleside. I have been told that 'Fairfield' in Scottish would be 'Foinavon'...and many blippers will know that Foinavon won The Grand National at 100-1 in 1967.
I was looking out for a Dalmatian today ( 101 Dalmatians for my 101st blip! ) Well I did spot one, but I thought that regular viewers of this journal would be horrified if they couldn't spot Chloe!
