Sgwarnog: In the Field

St. David's Day

As I'm Welsh, today I set myself a Blipfoto challenge of finding a daffodil in bloom on St. David's Day.

If I had been on my normal routine, that would have been reasonably straightforward, as although none are yet open in the usual places in the village, I did notice the first had opened on campus in Bradford yesterday.

Today I was off to York though, so just before my meeting I popped down to York Museum Gardens, and was lucky to find a few tucked away in a corner.  I later saw that some were open on the grass embankments of the outer wall, and around Clifford's Tower - there will be quite a display here in a week or so.
