Nuthatch

I've recently finished building a rudimentary hide out of 4 pallets and some old tin sheets and yesterday, with the help of my step-father, we sited it by the river. We also put up a small feeding station to attract the birds and some twigs and branches for them to perch on (photogenically). Today I went down to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. Quite a few species had already found the feeders and despite the hide needing some more camouflage, they didn't seem to notice me inside. It was a nice bright day but when I was in the hide the sun was directly behind the birds, so the photos weren't great, but I quite liked this nuthatch edging its way round the tree towards the feeders.
