Fire and water

It looks like a bowl of fire, but it's actually a water spout outside the Royal Academy, shot from above with a light underneath. I shot a few and chose this one because it looked quite violent and abstract.

I like the contradiction between it looking very hot and angry, while it is actually, cold and soft.

I went to see the Russian Exhibition with my good friend Paul (who I always end up telling the truth to)... nice show, not too big, some real surprises and delights there. Well worth popping along.
