Belted Kingfisher

These little birds are not unusual here; a visit to well stocked lakes or rivers will usually find one. I find them very difficult to photograph as a rule, especially in flight. This annoying little devil was chortling and cackling away; flying from tree to tree he would only perch long enough for my arms to get tired focusing on him, then, as I lowered the camera he would be off, laughing at me.
The new pc and I seem to be getting used to each other. Fingers crossed.
