Every Thursday

Mrs Tonto has every Thursday off.

It started the other year there when it helped Lola and Cambo out with child care. Of course Cambo's at school now, but Mrs T still has the day off. Well, there's so much to do all day with all the other young mothers.

But today I was there to get in the way. Both our cars were in the garage getting various things done so we were tied to the house 'til at least one of them got returned.

Not to worry, though as I had to finish off a photo assignment before we could go anywhere.

Once a car was returned we set off to find an old abandoned village I'd spotted on the map, just off the road to Dundee. Needless to say we missed it and didn't really have a great deal of time to go trekking through the Sidlaw hills to find it. I have a good idea now where it can be found.

We did though stop off at the antiques place at Abernyte. What a trove of treasure that place is. And I even parted with some cash for a nice piece that will become blip fodder soon.

Back to Perth and we picked Cambo up from school, went down to the North Inch, took some pictures and then went for ice cream.

It's been quite a busy and enjoyable day.

I could get quite used to having every Thursday off.
