At what age ...

My eldest (11yr) has asked for a Facebook account "because all my friends have one". He is not happy with my negative response. I appreciate that lots of kids under 13 have a Facebook account. On the otherhand, it is for 13 and over for a reason.

Am I being unreasonable? Comments please to my facebook account.
