Spring Herbs

These folks have placed a fairly large wooden plant box in one of the streets and are planting what I understand are herbs. A number of these [herb] boxes have now appeared on Stirling's streets in the last 6 months or so. This is the first time I've seen someone tending to them.

I don't know who is responsible for planting them. I don't think it is the local authority although they must presumably have permitted the boxes to be located on public streets. I think the idea is that folks can take the herbs when they are grown.

Wonder if any other towns in blip-world have a similar scheme?
