Temporary watering hole

Even although the weather was very dreich today I felt I had to get just a little bit of fresh air at the back door as I have been stuck in the house since Saturday because of a sore back. Of course, the dogs ran out and as you can see my dog Rowan headed straight for the flower pots and started to drink from the rain water in the pot. What is it about dogs drinking any old thing - pond water - rain water - puddle water!!
