Waiting . . .

It's the Spitfire's 75th anniversary and I joined the thousands who lined the shores of Southampton water to witness a flypast by the world?s only female Spitfire pilot Carolyn Grace who took off from Southampton International Airport at 11.30 this morning.

Not the best conditions for photos as it was overcast and hazy, and I failed miserably to get one of the spitfire, but I took several beach scenes of the crowds waiting and this was my favourite with the sun trying to break through the haze and glistening on the water.
