Nigel Farage MEP, leader of the UK Independence Party makes his speech at the party conference in Scarborough today. Shooting pics of speakers at party conferences is always very revealing... Some politicians really work the camera, knowing the waving of hands and finger pointing will 'make' a pic, some are frozen as if botoxed to the max' lest a snapper get an unflattering pic, while most are reluctant to scratch an itch...
Farage turned out, not unexpectedly, to be quite a performer, as much for his delighted party members(all 200 of them) as for the camera. Job done, for him, and for me...

Tech note, the Nikon D3 is quite amazing at high ISO settings. This was shot at 3200iso, which is just cruising for the D3, as it will go up to 12800iso. For an old film user like me, its quite something to get my head around!
