Furnace Lass

Golden

Another grey day . Grandsons came to visit and the older one spent about two hours at the bird perches. Amazingly patient for a 14 year old boy. He brought his own camera this time as last time he used one of mine. Off course he had to have a go of Gran's 7D. That was it ! I didn't get near mine until after they had gone.
I spent an enjoyable time with him downloading the ones he was keeping and reminding him how to use the software to convert from RAW. Also a quick guide tp PSP so that he could resize and alter things if he wanted to. He's off home with the laptop because he doesn't have this software at home. That's one of the thing I miss now they have moved away. They could wander in at any time when they were out playing and could come in and share te photographs they had taken. Anyway I'm looking forward to see what he does with all his bird shots as the RAW images looked very good.

So what was I left with ? No birds , sky too dull for any scenery. Took Oscar down to the shore , light too flat for any thing decent. Took the long way back and saw that these daffodils had bloomed , so that's tonight's blip sorted. Quite liked the single unopened bloom with the lovely wide open flowerheads.

Hope you all had a good weekend.
Mary
