Mates at lunch

Winter returned yesterday. Grrrr. The squirrels and birds were busy at the feeder, suet ball, and on the benches. These two Downey woodpeckers were busy at the suet ball at lunchtime. It is supposed to warm up slowly through the week. We had a visit from a raccoon last night. Pumpkin announced his visit with a lovely yowl. No contact, just noise. When Edward opened the door, Pumpkin came in and the raccoon took off.
