Long and Slimy

I am totally phobic about snakes, and in line with that (pun sort of intended), also about eels and worms - they're all long and slithery. Anyway, I'd promised my visitors that I'd take them to see the tame eels in the creek up the road and they are probably leaving tomorrow so up the creek we went.

I stood well back so most of my shots didn't come out because of the sun on the water. So then I checked the other sicde of the drain they live in and this one was there all on his own. He is just a little guy compared with the rest, only about 60cm long, most of them are more than twice his size. Ugh!
