A good old gossip

The cows enjoying the warmth of the sun this morning in their yard.

This afternoon we had the yearly visit from the bank manager who brought his successor along to meet us. Meeting went as well as to be expected but wish Mr P was not leaving us!

I actually mowed the lawn for the first time this year as the grass is now growing again, and saw my first butterfly, a Small Tortoiseshell. It was too quick to snap! Just hope it finds shelter from the frost.
