Scott Monument in the sun

A day of work and a cracking morning was had. Following on from yesterday, wandering around with just the D90 and Sigma 10-20mm lens, no filters nothing I done the same today in Princes Street Gardens. It's quite liberating not thinking about the technical aspects and just being freed up from a tripod trying out some more unusual compoositions. Of course, the images are a tad flat so HDR it is again. Done both sides of the Gardens and since I had the 50mm f1.8 with me as well, got a myriad of images to choose from tonight.

However, since the Scott Monument was closed as bits were falling off it this morning I thought this was was appropriate. Sadly, back to work tomorrow...
