6 o'clock shadow

It was still (almost) properly light when I left the orifice at about 5.40 this evening and the light was so lovely I was less than cautious whilst cycling home as my mind was thinking this, that or the other would make a good blip. However (road) sense prevailed and as I pulled up outside our house I noticed the shadow of my bike on the pavement that you now see here. The 6 o'clock shadow.
