Change Of Pace

Could have gone off to see the parade in Frankfurt but I've been told that it lacks a bit of spirit. The difference is that Mainz is a dude and Frankfurt is an Adult. One likes to cut itself a bit of slack and just enjoy, the other worries endlessly that it has got the right kit and is spending enough money to warrant enjoying itself.

So anyway, we had a quiet walk today (if you ignore the woodpecker, the jays, the parakeets and Carker The Crow) and found these lovely bits of topiary. The bench at middle right might give you a bit of scale but these are about 4-5 metres tall. I really like the repeating shape and the sun on them. I think I might try for another shot of these in some early light. Heck they'll be around for the rest of the year.

It was warm enough that the table on the roof terrace was unwrapped today. That will feature in future Blips.
