Crocii ?

I'm not sure what the plural for crocuses are? Is that in fact the answer?

Every year these wee ones suddenly appear in a small park next to a main road very near where I live. I always forget this is going to happen and then am amazed at how I could forget. I take it as a sign of spring and it always makes me smile. Even on the way to see the doctor with very sore ear drums. Apparatly they're under a lot of pressure and are stretched. Unfortuantely that wont burn any calories and I've eaten a couple of biscuits to compensate. Damn.
