Milestone, Whitehouse, Aberdeenshire

A busy day with little opportunity for photography until well after dark, when - after an evening meeting in Alford - I was waiting beside the A944 at Whitehouse to meet my wife off a bus from Aberdeen.

Curiously, the milestone has the figure '10' still clearly visible on the side, whereas I found it impossible to decipher the remains of what had once been written on the face.
