I found last night's Channel 4 Dispatches to be a fascinating and educational insight into the situation in Afghanistan. It was an hour long programme called, 'Fighting the Taliban', and had Sean Langan following British soldiers and Afghan Army into battle against the Taliban.

On Thursday I'll hopefully be watching the follow up, part 2. 'Meeting the Taliban', when Langan reports from Helmand Province where it seems he risked death by firing squad to talk to Taliban commanders and a would-be suicide bomber aged just 14.
