Daffodil Week

My sister purchased these Daffodil for The American Cancer Society "Daffodil week". They are to honor all those fighting with cancer or those who were taken by cancer.

These were purchased in memory of Amanda Benavides -My Aunt-, who lost her life to cancer. May you rest in peace and know we always think of you.

Below is something I found online:

the daffodil symbolizes the living symbol of hope in the battle to fight cancer and also represents the hope of a world free of cancer. Daffodil Days is about sharing hope for a world with less cancer and more birthdays, where cancer never steals another year and Happy Birthday is a victory song.
