there's a reason for this...

ok, it's the Bass Rock again, but I had to post this because it shows (I hope) how many gannets have arrived in the last week. Look at all the white spots on the rock top - each is a gannet. Compare with exactly a week ago:

The other point is how much nicer the weather was a week ago - we had snow in the street again this morning.
