A Little Picture Of Spinnaker Tower

Wife had a meeting with work this afternoon as she is going back to work from maternity leave soon. So we all went to pick up toddler from nursery and then wandered off in the direction of her work.

On the way we dropped of some little cellar people images at the gallery so hopefully they will be on display and on sale in the next week or so.

After dropping off Wife at her work Baby, Toddler and I wandered on down to Gunwharf Quays. Baby was asleep so we went to a couple of shops to look at shoes but did not buy any. We then took in the view of the Spinnaker for a bit, where this little cellar chap took a few pictures, before all heading to the Aspex Gallery for cake.

However I did not realise they shut at 4pm so we did not have time to get any, we then tried somewhere else but it was full. I sat on a bench and had the following chat with Toddler:

Toddler - Where are we going for lunch Daddy?
Me - You had your lunch hours ago and you have been eating non-stop since.
Toddler - Where are we going for lunch Daddy?
Me - Everywhere is shut Mia, shall we just go home?
Toddler - We need to go to the shop to get some sweeties
Me - We do not need any sweeties
Toddler - NO We need to go to the shop to get some sweeties
Me - We do not need any sweeties
Toddler - No Daddy we need to go to the shop to get some sweeties

At this point I broke and produced the emergency pack of sweets from my pocket.

Toddler - OOOOHHHHH sweeties
Me - Yes, shall we go home now
Toddler - Yes, can I hold the sweeties
Me - Yes
Toddler - Daddy, let me hold the sweeties

We then set off for home. Halfway along Baby had to be removed from the buggy due to shouty behaviour. Its is bloomin' hard carrying a baby and pushing a buggy at the same time for a few miles.

In a few weeks I will be in sole charge of both Baby and Toddler every Wednesday afternoon. Today I learnt a valuable lesson. Don't go very far away from home, as it can be a long way back.

Also I have backblipped yesterday!
