Rock Around The Clock

This is a 1956 Wurlitzer Jukebox, Centennial Edition. It was designed to celebrate the company's 100 years in business and was the first model to offer 200 selections (it holds 100 45s and both sides could be played).

When I was in high school, the jukebox was in working order. We all added our favorite records (and pulled our least favorites belonging to various siblings). My Dad would famously remove our rock 'n' roll and substitute Mario Lanza records. Our hand-written tags are still there.

The jukebox doesn't work at the moment and we haven't made an effort to find someone who could repair it. Someday perhaps.

Computer issues have been resolved for the moment so I've back-blipped a few images. I hope you have all been well.
