Make It Moray

Attended a Networking event at Laichmoray Hotel today. During the day was an exhibition for joe public to pop along and speak to local businesses about forthcoming opportunities in the area. The night event was speed networking, taken it's name from speed dating and followed a similar format; businesses sat at one side and the candidate at the other. 5 minutes for the candidate to make an impression and hopefully come away with an interview or commitment to discuss opps further.

Really enjoyed it and what a fantastic opportunity for the candidates with many of the big guns from aberdeen popping along for the event.

We were tucked away at the corner but did get to have a chinwag with Jim from Orion.
Great event and was nice to bump into familiar faces as well as meet individuals who up till then had only been a voice on the phone.

Macaroni was excellent!
