Mural Dedication

Art students at School of the Arts frequently do murals on the hallway walls, but this year was the first time that artists in the special education transition class (students with disabilities, ages 18-22) were invited to do a mural. Steven and Joel spent many hours on their mural, and last night there was a mural dedication ceremony, attracting a packed room full of teachers, students, parents, and others. Film students created a short film about the mural, and the drama department put on a performance. The man on the right, from Creativity Explored, directed the mural project.
