Sunrise over the rooftops

Back to work today after a few days off with the flu lurgy - first time I've felt human for a week.

Pulled back the curtains in the bedroom to see this beautiful sky as the sun came up (yes I was up, showered, dressed & had make-up on at sunrise!) so I found my camera and took a few photos, hoping that some of them at least would come out. This was my favourite, especially with the bird flying off into the distance.

The rest of the day was spent watching the terrible events in Japan unfold, feeling terrible for the people there and counting my blessings.
