Fishing

This tranquil scene is a counterpoint to the most rollercoaster of a day we've experienced so far on our project here; the chief of works with a team of four under him on site from early with a commitment to be there every day including Sundays (if quiet work is possible) being the high point, with finding out that our main furniture order had been cancelled from the system altogether and the secondary order due for delivery on 21st March was, in fact, delivered today (ten days early and before the floors are laid) being the low points!

Still, overall we recuperated the position with the early delivery stored in secret porters' quarters down below, and a new order placed for collection on the original delivery date. Oh, and I led a convoy of two taxis out of town to pick up 260 kg of plaster and grout for the floor and wall tiles that had been missed from the original delivery last week!

So, it really is a pleasure to see at least one of my fellow humans was able to find a little fishing time; it would be lovely to think of my subject at home tonight with his catch gently sizzling on the grill!
