the lovely big arrow made sure that me and the surgeon were agreed on which shoulder he was snipping. i woke up covered in a strange red dye which they slopped all over me while i was under the general anaesthetic (and try spelling that when you've just had one...)

the bandage covers what i think is three wee holes. this was only an investigation so i will find out what went on and what the cunning plan is when i see the consultant in a few weeks.

the anaesthetic was wierd. left me dehydrated, feeling like i've got bambi legs and a spaced-out hollow where my brain used to be

in the advice they give you it says that you shouldn't sign any important documents for the first day or so, i can see why. i feel as if i could be very easily lead...
