Hot Shoes

It was probably a mistake to get Sooty & Sweep to help. But I can't ask my wife again and anyway she usually yawns in front of the camera (after years of being asked to model).

Sooty just likes to see Sweep's ears hit the roof when the flash fires.

I'm reading a good book at the moment called "Hot Shoe Diaries" by Joe McNally. The cover and the title gave my wife cause for concern when she came across the book. She thought the subject matter could be questionable. But it is about the use of Nikon Speedlights in all kinds of useful and novel ways. Most inspirational and an entertaining read as well.
