Kite

Now that's what you call a kite (and I hope you said that in your best Crocodile Dundee voice).

A long walk today along part of the Rheinsteig. This involved dropping the car off and taking a train further away and walking back to it. All very good, skirting the Taunus and walking in trees and through vineyards. It was really nice and peaceful. It would have been better if the sun had stayed out longer but I'm not going to complain - it's March and I was walking in hills without a jacket and with my sunglasses on (and various other articles of clothing, nothing to frighten the horses), it felt really good.

We tried to find a place to eat in the town where we parked the car but the only place open sold Bindings bier and (say it very quietly) that honks. So we nipped along to Eltville and found a very nice place there. Came home to find a very "what-time-do-you-call-this?" cat and have managed to placate him. Let's see how long that lasts.

And just in case you think this high living can't go on, we're off tomorrow to weatherproof a car port. Life in the Bus lane doesn't get more exciting than that.
